Keaton is a third-generation Arizonan, originally from the Tucson area. He grew up always wanting to be an Arizona Wildcat so he pursued his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona where he was awarded the Outstanding Senior Award in 2014. Although Keaton is a true Arizona Wildcat at heart (Bear Down), he attended Arizona State University for law school, where he became a Willard H. Pedrick Scholar. Throughout his time in law school, Keaton was able to work for the Pima County Attorney’s Office and the City of Tempe Attorney’s Office. In his final year of law school, he worked alongside ASU, the Phoenix Connective, and various technology companies, to draft state and local legislation to pave the way for new smart city developments in the Phoenix area.
Keaton joined the WHPG as a law clerk in 2019. After passing the Arizona State Bar in 2020, he assumed a role as a full-time associate. Since joining the firm, Keaton has practiced in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, and product liability.
Prior to law school, Keaton lived a number of years in Peru where he learned to love and appreciate Latin culture and traditions. Having learned Spanish, he is passionate about working with and advocating for Spanish-speaking clients. In his spare time, Keaton lives a very active lifestyle and spends much of his time with friends and family. He enjoys the outdoors, hiking, running, and playing sports. Keaton also loves catching a good movie or finding the best restaurants in the Phoenix area.
