Christian A. Powell

Christian joined the firm in November 2021 as an associate after graduating from the Arizona State University law school and passing the Arizona State Bar earlier in 2021. Throughout his time at ASU’s law school, Christian was a member of the school’s Sports and Entertainment Law Journal, worked with a law firm specializing in social security disability cases, and worked as a contract analyst for an Arizona-based aerospace manufacturer. Since joining WHPG, Christian has practiced in the areas of insurance defense, construction litigation, general liability and personal injury.

Christian is one of four brothers and grew up in New Canaan, Connecticut. He attended Bucknell University in Pennsylvania where he studied economics and, prior to law school, worked as an analyst in the commercial real estate industry in Washington, D.C.

Outside of his work, Christian lives an active lifestyle. He enjoys playing sports in his free time, especially golf and tennis. Christian tries to get outside as much as possible and loves to spend his weekends camping, skiing, hiking, or fishing. When Christian is not outside, he enjoys rooting on his favorite sports teams, mainly the Yankees, Knicks, and Rangers.
