Austin joined WHPG in April, 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Austin has experience serving tribal nations in a wide range of legal matters such as, representing tribal interests in Indian Child Welfare Act cases, drafting various commercial contracts for tribally-owned business entities, and working with tribal governments and agencies. Prior to that, Austin also worked at the Pima County Superior Court as a judicial law clerk for the family law and civil benches. Since joining WHPG, Austin has practiced in the areas of insurance defense, construction litigation, general liability and personal injury.
Austin is originally from Northern California where he grew up on his parents’ almond farm. It is from there where he developed his strong interest in serving small and medium business as well as instilling his values of loyalty, honesty, transparency, and communication. He is dedicated to providing quality work for his clients.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also keeps up on his farming roots by working in his vegetable garden, and swimming. Austin also enjoys history and participates in Civil War reenactments as a Private in the Union Army’s 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment, Company G.
